Three boys given Community Resolutions and man due in court after shoplifting spree at Lymm

THREE 13-year-old boys have been given Community Resolutions by police, while a 41-year-old man is due to appear in court following a spree of shoplifting incidents in Lymm village.

It follows a number of thefts from shops at The Cross and Chaise Meadow areas of the village.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “”Over the past few weeks, officers from Warrington have been investigating a number of shoplifting incidents that have occurred across Lymm.
“Incidents occurred in The Cross and Chaise Meadow areas.
“Following three respective investigations, three 13-year-old boys have been handed Community Resolutions and a 42-year-old man from Sale has also been summonsed to Warrington Magistrates Court on Wednesday 18 March in relation to two counts of theft from a shop.”
