A 33-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car collided into a building at Orford, Warrington, during the early hours of this morning.
A road closure was put in place while emergency services attended at the scene on O’Leary Street.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed: “At 4.17am on Friday 13 February, police were called to reports of a collision on O’Leary Street, Warrington. Officers attended the scene and found a Black MG had collided with a building at the junction of Norris Street.
“Fire and paramedics were called to the scene, and one person was released from the car.
“The 33-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. The man was taken to hospital, where he remains at this time.”
