WARRINGTON Golf Club’s Captains’ Charities have successfully raised an impressive £26,160 for charity, marking a standout year of fundraising.

Throughout the year, the club’s captains led a programme of events designed to raise money for the Alzhemer’s Society and St Joseph’s Family Centre, while bringing people together.

The fundraising effort highlights Warrington Golf Club’s long-standing commitment to giving back. Members rallied behind the chosen charities, giving their time and resources to ensure the success of each event. The total raised will make a meaningful difference to the causes supported, helping to fund vital services and initiatives.
Club officials praised the dedication and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved, noting that the achievement would not have been possible without the hard work of volunteers, sponsors, and participants. The success of this year’s appeal has set a high benchmark for future captains and reinforces the club’s reputation as a positive force in the local community.
As Warrington Golf Club looks ahead, the £26,160 total stands as a clear reminder of what can be achieved when sport, community, and charity come together.
This money is being shared between the Captains’ chosen charities, the Alzheimer’s Society and St Joseph’s Family Centre.
