LOCAL residents are being warned to lock their vehicles at night following reports of attempted break-ins during the hours of darkness in the Fearnhead area of Warrington.
Poulton North Police issued the warning after receiving reports of a white male trying door handles of vehicles in the late evening and early hours of the morning around the Blackledge Close, Libson Close and Gairloch Close area.
Police are warning residents to double-check their vehicles are locked, all valuables are out of sight, and, where possible, try to park their vehicle in view of CCTV.
Remember the 9 pm routine. Set an alarm on your phone to double-check your security before you go to sleep.
