SNOW has been falling across Warrington, giving parts of the borough a wintry feel as cold winds and icy conditions set in.
The snowfall comes as a yellow weather warning remains in place, with wintry showers expected to continue through Sunday afternoon and into Monday. While conditions have varied across the town, some areas have seen a light covering, with pavements and untreated roads becoming slippery.
Drivers are being urged to take care, particularly during the evening and early morning, when temperatures are expected to dip further and ice is more likely to form.

Across Warrington, trees, plants and grassed areas have been dusted with snow.
Further wintry showers are forecast, with icy stretches expected to form widely as temperatures remain low. Residents are advised to stay weather-aware and allow extra time for journeys as cold conditions continue.
