POLICE at Warrington will be holding a Bike Register Day tomorrow (Saturday) – to make sure bikes newly delivered by Santa don’t fall into the wrong hands.

The event will be held at Palmyra Square from 11am to 1pm.

Bike register is completely FREE and will take a few minutes to do.
A police spokesperson said: “If you do have a new bike please think about security
“ALWAYS lock it up even if just leaving it for a few minutes.
“ALWAYS lock to a secure place that is well lit. In Warrington Town centre they have a secure bike shed at the bus station and also at Warrington Cycle Hub on Crown Street
“You could spend hundreds of pounds on a new bike so please don’t scrimp when buying a new lock, we would recommend a strong D-LOCK which you can pick up for as little as £10.”
