WARRINGTON is the UK’s sixth most popular location for movers, with a seven per cent increase in net migration, according to new research

More than 10,000 British people settled down in the Warrington area with an average house price of £251,233, the researchers claim.
With many Brits chasing cheaper postcodes, self-storage software provider Stora analysed net migration figures and average house prices in 50 locations to find out where people are choosing to stay and leave.
Birkenhead comes out as the most popular location for movers, with a 27 per cent increase in net migration and over 11,000 people settling down in the town.
Wigan comes second with a 26 per cent increase in net migration.
The report from self-storage software provider Stora, also revealed that Luton is the least popular location for movers, with more people choosing to move out of Luton than move in, and the increase in net migration is negative at -39 per cent.
It comes as the rising cost of living is influencing moving decisions, with 39 per cent of British expats admitting it played a role in their decision to move abroad.
