Police are appealing for information following another ATM attack in Warrington, the second in recent days.
In the early hours on Monday, 15 December, police were called to Longshaw Street in Bewsey, following reports that an ATM had been targeted.
It’s believed that a group of unknown offenders arrived at the address at around 1.30am.
They then used their vehicle and other tools to rip the ATM machine out. While they caused significant damage, they left empty-handed approximately five minutes later.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid the investigation.
Detective Sergeant Gary McClatchey said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident are in the early stages and we are committed to doing all that we can to trace the people responsible.
“As part of our investigation we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious in the area.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.”
This recent attack follows a similar incident at an ATM at Marks & Spencer Gemini
