FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a tumble dryer fire at a property in Warrington on Tuesday afternoon.
At 13:41 one crew from Widnes attended at the property on Bennett Avenue, Warrington to tackle a fire inside a property involving a tumble dryer.
The fire was quickly extinguished using a hose reel jet, and everyone was safely accounted for.
Firefighters cleared the property of smoke using a high-pressure fan, as well as isolating gas and electricity supplies.
Cadent Gas were requested to attend to check the pipework and complete safety checks following the fire.
Once the property was safe, crews left the scene shortly before 14:40.
