POLICE are stepping up patrols in a Warrington village following reports of suspicious activity.
It follows a report from a Hatton resident that a person was seen filming their property while driving past.
The homeowner on Goose Lane has been spoken to by a local officer who is conducting regular visits to the village to offer reassurance.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed: “On Friday, December 5, police were called to reports of suspicious activity on Goose Lane, Hatton.
“The caller reported that an unknown person was driving past and filming their property.
“Police have spoken to the occupants and are paying passing attention to the property.”
