FLAVERS Restaurant in Warrington hosted a vibrant celebration evening to mark their recent triumph in winning the Best Newcomer Curry Award 2025.
The event brought together dignitaries, community leaders, volunteers, and supporters for an evening of exceptional food, cultural entertainment, and charitable fundraising.
Guests were treated to a complimentary three-course meal, generously provided by Flavers, with all proceeds going to support the Mayor of Warrington’s four chosen charities:
• Warrington Youth Zone
• St Rocco’s Hospice
• Warrington Disability Partnership
• Room at the Inn

Thanks to the generosity of those attending, the evening raised £800, offering valuable support to these much-loved organisations that continue to provide outstanding services to residents across the borough.
The celebration was attended by a number of distinguished guests, including the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Manchester, the Mayor of Tameside, local councillors, volunteers, and community champions.
The Mayor of Warrington Cllr. Mo Hussain, congratulated Flavers Restaurant on their award success and thanked the team for their continued commitment to supporting the community. A special tribute was also made to the Warrington Litter Network for receiving the prestigious King’s Award for Voluntary Service, recognising their incredible work in helping keep the town clean.
Formerly known as The Cottage and located on Church Street, Flavers has quickly gained a strong reputation for its exceptional cuisine, warm hospitality, and 5-star hygiene rating. Their dedication to quality and community engagement has made them a valued part of Warrington’s cultural and culinary scene.
Guests also enjoyed a vibrant Bollywood dance performance by the Sonash Sisters, adding colour, energy, and celebration to the evening.
The event showcased the power of local businesses, community spirit, and cultural celebration coming together to support charities that make a real difference across Warrington.
