DETECTIVES investigating a serious assault in Warrington town centre have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
At around 3.10 am on Saturday, 30 November, police were called to reports that a 27-year-old man had been assaulted on Sankey Street, Warrington.
Enquiries in relation to the incident have been ongoing and as part of the investigation, officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to identify.
Detective Constable Keri Spears, of Warrington CID, said: “The victim in the case suffered serious injuries, and we are committed to doing all we can to trace the person who was responsible
“Enquiries in relation to incident are ongoing and we believe that the man in the CCTV image may have important information to help with our ongoing investigation.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV image to get in touch.”
