Fire crews alerted as smoke seen coming from commercial premises

TWO fire crews were called out during the early hours of Friday morning following reports of smoke coming from commercvial premises at Lymm, Warrington.

At 03:39 crews from Lymm and Warrington attended at the commercial premises at The Cross in Lymm village centre after reports of smoke coming from the premises and the flat above.
On arrival, firefighters in breathing apparatus found the building smoke-logged with alarms sounding.
Crews located a single pan smouldering inside and confirmed there was no further fire. The property and upstairs flat were fully searched, and neighbouring homes were checked and cleared of smoke.
A high-pressure fan was used to remove smoke from the building. No casualties were reported.
The incident was brought to a safe conclusion by 05:23.
