WARRINGTON Town Hall is set to sparkle with a lively programme of seasonal events designed to bring the community together.
On Saturday November 29 the Magical Christmas Experience will run from 11am to 4pm, featuring a chance to meet Santa and receive a small gift (£4 per child).
Guests can enjoy live music, crafts, mulled wine in the courtyard, a pop-up café, and a special appearance by Elsa from Frozen. The event also marks the launch of Warrington’s annual Christmas appeal, supporting those in need during the holiday season.
Adding to the festive fun, a local ceramicist will host a pop-up ceramics workshop where visitors can create their own ceramic snowman. This hands-on, two-hour session is suitable for all ages and costs £25, including materials, expert guidance, and kiln firing. Participants will return a few days later to collect their finished snowman—perfect as a keepsake or gift.
The Mayoral Christmas Dinner, hosted by Mayor of Warrington Cllr Mo Hussain, will take place on Friday December 5.
This festive evening takes place from 6.45pm to 10pm. Tickets are £30 and include a welcome drink, a traditional three-course carvery, mince pies and coffee. Proceeds will support the Mayor’s chosen local charities. Again, tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
Cllr Jean Flaherty, deputy leader of the council and cabinet member for communities, culture and leisure, said: “Warrington Town Hall is a place where our community comes together, and this year’s festive programme is a fantastic reflection of that spirit – there’s something for everyone. These events not only bring joy but also support meaningful causes across our town.”
