TWO local solicitors in Warrington volunteered their time and services for free so that people could make a Will in return for a donation raising over £3,600 for St. Rocco’s Hospice.
One will writer said: “Making a Will was so much easier than I thought it would be. The solicitor took time to listen to my wishes and explain how the process works. She explained everything in a way I could understand and talked through some different options. I also made the decision to leave a gift to St. Rocco’s in my Will as I know this is an important way they are funded.”
This campaign would not have been successful without the partnership and kindness of the solicitors that gave up their time to help St Rocco’s: Chris Rudd Solicitors and Bell Lamb & Joyson.
A spokesperson for St Rocco’s said: “We are grateful for their ongoing support.
“Leaving a gift to St. Rocco’s makes a lasting difference. It helps us continue providing our wrap-around care to future patients and their loved ones.
“You can include a gift in your will at any time, and every contribution, large or small ensures we can continue to deliver essential care. Our care is provided free of charge with only a fifth of our funding provided by the government and NHS, meaning gifts like this are vital in helping us support those who need us most.
“By leaving a gift in your will, you’ll be helping St. Rocco’s continuing to provide compassionate, free care to those facing life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones.”
