Warrington girls’ football team receives new kit from Law Distribution

A Warrington-based girls’ football team has been supported with a new playing kit by local warehousing and distribution company, Law Distribution.

Warrington Schools Girls U13s team comprises elite players selected from the five high schools in the area following trials sessions. The team competes in the English Schools FA North West League and the Champions Cup, a national knock-out competition.
Possibly inspired by the Lionesses’ Euros success this summer or perhaps their new kit, the girls have got off to a flying start this season, already notching up two 9-0 wins in both their league and the cup.
The team’s Manager, Harry Capper, visited Law Distribution’s campus in Haydock to present Chairman, John Law and Managing Director, Angela Carus, with a framed shirt.  Players selected their favourite shirt from a shortlist of options and Law Distribution also provided the team with a number of logo choices for the new shirt to ensure it complemented the new design.

Speaking about the support from the company, Harry Capper, who formed an U12s team last year and who now manages the U13s team with his brother Jack, said, “It has been a real boost for us to receive the support from Law Distribution and involving the girls in selecting both the shirt design and the logo to go on in, proved to be a great success.
“Grassroots football relies heavily on the hard work and dedication of volunteers, so to gain financial backing like this from a local company means a lot to us.
“On the back of the Lionesses’ success and the growth of the Women’s Super League, women’s and girls’ football is on the ascendancy and it’s great to see so many young girls wanting to get out there and play football.  It’s an exciting time for the sport and the standard of football in the ESFA North West league is high.”
Angela Carus responded, saying, “We are more than happy to support Harry and the girls this season with a new kit and to make a contribution to encouraging girls’ football in our local area.
“Harry is keeping us in touch with the team’s excellent results and we hope their fantastic form continues throughout the season.”
