HAPPY Kids Yoga, the Warrington-based children’s yoga and mindfulness company, is celebrating its 10th birthday – marking a decade of growth from a small local idea to a thriving national brand.
A special celebration will be held on Sunday(November 9) to mark this milestone.
Founded by Jen Hoe, Happy Kids Yoga grew from Jen’s desire to support children’s wellbeing through mindful movement. Having spent years teaching swimming, she saw first-hand the difference that confidence, focus, and body awareness make — and wanted to bring those same benefits to children through yoga. What began as a local idea has blossomed into a national movement, supported by a dedicated core team of four.
Over the past decade, the company has introduced thousands of children across the Northwest to the benefits of yoga and mindfulness. Its commitment to community is clear through long-standing partnerships — including being a trusted partner of The Cheshire Day Nursery since day one and collaborating closely with LiveWire Warrington to deliver engaging experience days in primary schools.
A testament to its local popularity, Happy Kids Yoga proudly holds the record for its largest-ever class, teaching an incredible 90 children simultaneously at the Orford Hub in Warrington.
While maintaining strong community roots, Happy Kids Yoga has expanded nationally through a growing franchise network. The brand now has successful franchisees in Canterbury, Reading, Leeds, and Bradford, with a new Manchester location launching soon.Founder Jen Hoe said: “Seeing the positive influence we have on children — helping them build strength, focus, and emotional resilience — makes every moment worthwhile. Our mission is simple: to make yoga and mindfulness accessible, engaging, and joyful for every child, giving them lifelong tools for happy, healthy living.”
