WARRINGTON Wolves’ youngsters won the Academy Grand Final, beating Leeds 32-18 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The Wolves completed a perfect season, sealing their 14th successive victory to defeat their closest challengers and bring some silverware to town.

Early tries from Cameron Cooper and Daniel Coop put Warrington in front, but two quickfire tries had Leeds back at 12-all.

Oliver Morgan snuck over from dummy half and Jake Ramsden added a fourth Wolves try, either side of a Ewan Irwin penalty, as the hosts opened up at a 14-point lead.

Leeds got a try back to keep things interesting, though saw themselves reduced to 12-men due to a sin-bin.

Lucas Mulqueeney’s late score sealed the win for Warrington and triggered the start of the celebrations.
