This September, St. Rocco’s Hospice along with 142 hospices, took part in a second burst of the nationwide Hospice UK campaign to spread the key message that ‘Hospice Care is for all, for now, forever.’
Leading the campaign is the powerful TV advert ‘This is Hospice Care’ which continues to be aired until 5th October. This along with various other promotional materials, including a social media campaign, will deliver powerful storytelling and an inclusive representation of the impact of hospice care to those living with a palliative diagnosis. This campaign highlights a collaborative approach by hospices across the nation as we come together to highlight how crucial gifts in wills are in supporting the future of hospice care.
Catherine Bosworth, Director of Income Generation and Grants at Hospice UK, said, “Over the next few decades, income from Gifts in Wills represents a huge opportunity for the hospice sector. But without significant action, hospices risk continuing to lose market share.
I’m truly blown away by the response and support from our members, and I’m excited to see this campaign come to fruition. We’re hopeful that local hospices will begin to see the benefits in the years ahead.

St. Rocco’s Hospice have provided compassionate, wrap-around care to those in the Warrington Community for four decades. Their care is provided free of charge and 1 in 6 of their patients are currently supported through Gifts in Wills. Without the generous gifts that people have left, they wouldn’t have been able to provide this care.
