LYMM Oughtrington Park Cricket Club’s Under 11s have won the North Cheshire Junior League Cup for the first time since 2013.
On a rain threatened afternoon they defeated Kingsley by 20 runs in the final.
Winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, they fielded well on a wet outfield and then turned in a strong batting performance.
Coaches and parents praised the whole team for their skills, their commitment to the spirit of cricket and support for one another.
