Volunteers from across Warrington braved a barefoot walk across hot coals to raise vital funds for Creating Adventures’ ongoing work within local communities.

The fiery fundraiser was held at Monks Sport and Social Club and attended by volunteers, family members and even local MP Charlotte Nichols.
Founded in 2016 by Jenny Allcock, Creating Adventures has steadily grown to become a beacon of support for Warrington residents with autism and learning disabilities. Creating Adventures’ mission is to empower adults with Autism and learning disabilities to thrive through innovative support, meaningful connections, and an inclusive community where every individual’s unique potential is recognised and celebrated.
The charity provides a diverse range of creative, confidence building and social activities designed to help its members thrive. These include art, dance, drama, choir, brass band, cookery and yoga all of which is delivered from the Orford Community Hub by volunteers.

Charlotte Nichols MP said “What a night with Creating Adventures at Monks Sport & Social Club at their firewalking fundraiser! They do incredible work supporting adults with autism and learning difficulties in our community, and on their wishlist is a minibus and also a place of their own – well worth walking across Lego, broken glass and hot coals to help them get closer towards their goals!”
Jenny Allcock, founder of Creating Adventures said “ The Creating Adventures Fire Walk was a huge success. The atmosphere was electric! We had eighteen fire walkers, of which Charlotte was part and we are truly thankful to her for joining the event. The whole night was wonderful and the fire walkers did us proud. They braved a LEGO walk, a broken glass walk, an arrow break and finally the fire walk. It was truly a magical evening with £3,000 raised to support the work of Creating Adventures, supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities.
We love our community of members and families and this event was not only a fundraising event but also brought our families together too. Charlotte was a great sport, especially after a long day attending other events but we really do appreciate her support”.
