THERE will be a road closure on Bradshaw Lane, Grappenhall, on October 1st to allow a safety inspection to be carried out to the redundant railway bridge.
The closure between 9:30am and 3:30pm is expected to be for one day only.
Warrington Borough Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bradshaw Lane from its junction with Ollerton Close to its junction with Springfield Avenue.
The Order will be effective from 1st October 2025 for 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative routes will be via Thelwall New Road, Stanton Road, Stockport Road, Knutsford Road and vice versa and via Thelwall New Road, Higher Knutsford Road, Knutsford Road, Stockport Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow for a safety inspection to be carried out to the redundant railway bridge.
