Glorious sunshine helped ensure large crowds attended the “biggest and best” Warrington Mela to date.
Launched by Cllr Hussain, in 2012, Warrington town centre saw a wide variety of multi-cultural activities.
Commenting on the event Cllr. Hussain said: “This year’s Warrington Mela has been the biggest and best to date, a fantastic day of celebrating our town’s wonderful culture, diversity, and community spirit. With lots of new acts, amazing performances, and a wide variety of food stalls, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was a joy to see so many people coming together, having fun, and sharing in what makes Warrington such a vibrant and welcoming place.
“Events like the Mela are more important than ever, as they bring people together, break down barriers, and strengthen the bonds within our community. At a time when we need unity, understanding and positivity, continuing these
celebrations of culture helps ensure Warrington remains a town where everyone feels included and proud to belong.”
He was also amazed by Sami’s dancing performance and is looking forward to welcoming her back next year.
