Grappenhall went down by eight wickets

GRAPPENHALL went down by eight wickets hosting Bramhall in the Cheshire County League division one.

The visitors won the toss, elected to bowl and soon had Grappers in trouble.
Two wickets were down with only seven runs scored and although Iain Wright, 28, Alex Perry, 25 and Zak Judge, 22, all offered strong resistance, the bowlers were on top all the time.
When the last wicket fell Grappers had struggled to 111 – never enough to trouble the visitors.
Bramhall raced to 112-2 in 12.5 overs.

Warrington entertained Oakmere and bowled well to dismiss the visitors for 196 – a target that should have been within their reach. Aamir Ali, 4-38, was the pick of the bowlers.
But despite being set a revised target of 182 due to interruptions by rain, Warrington could only muster136-7, going down by 45 runs.
Brandon Andrews top-scored with 37.
Lymm Oughtrington Parks matc with Weaverham in the Cheshire League was abandoned due to rain.
Winning the toss and batting first, Lymm were all out for a disappointing 149 with several batsmen getting set but then falling without going on to make a match-winning score.
Weaverham were 14 without loss when the rain came.
Appleton travelled to Holmes Chapel and were bowled out for 73 despite a fighting 47 from Ian Richards – the only batsman to reach double figures.
Aamir Akash took 3-21 for Appleton but the home side reached their target for the loss of just four wickets.
Glazebury won by nine runs hosting Kerridge who won the toss and decided to field.
Opener Ben Marote hit 74 as Glazebury responded with 213-9. Jacob Kenyon hit 46.
The visitors started well in reply with 45 on the board before they lost a wicket.
At 192-6 they looked on course for victory but finished on 204-9, four Glazebury bowlers sharing the wickets.
