Four people arrested after police seize large quantity of drugs following raids on three properties at Burtonwood

UPDATED: FOUR people were arrested after police seized a large quantity of drugs in raids at three different addresses in Burtonwood, Warrington, yesterday, Thursday.

Officers from the Warrington West Beat team executed three warrants at different addresses and seized a large quantity of class A, B, C drugs. Cash was also recovered.

On Thursday 28 August, officers carried out warrants at addresses in Burtonwood, Warrington. These included at addresses in Haley Road South, Mitchell Avenue and Fairclough Street.
A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possession of criminal property and conspiring to import a class B drug.
A 61-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and importing a class B drug.
A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and importation of a class B drug.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, importation of a class B drug and possession of nitrous oxide.
All have since been released under investigation.
