UPDATED: POLICE have released video footage of a drugs raid on a property at Birchwood by officers from Warrington Local Policing Unit.
At around 8.30am yesterday, Wednesday 27 August, officers executed a warrant at an address on Redshank Lane.
While searching the property officers recovered a quantity of class A and B drugs along with other drug paraphernalia.
A 36-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs. They both have now been released on conditonal bail.
PC Thomas Shevlin, of Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “Today’s warrant is part of our ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the Warrington area and I hope it provides reassurance for local residents.
“The impact of drugs is well known, and we’re committed to doing all we can to ensure those responsible are held accountable.
