UTC Warrington students celebrate GCSE success

Students at UTC Warrington, part of the Aldridge Education family, are celebrating a fantastic GCSE Results Day, with strong performances across core subjects and technical pathways.

As a specialist STEM / cyber college with deep industry connections, UTC Warrington continues to deliver on its mission to prepare young people for high-demand careers in science, engineering, and digital technologies.
This year’s cohort has demonstrated exceptional resilience and ambition, with many students now progressing to post-16 study, apprenticeships, and future-focused career pathways.
Engineering results were amongst the best in the country with 71% of students achieving a level 4 plus and 40% plus, achieving 7-9 Grades
While every student has much to be proud of, several have truly exceeded expectations:
Callum who achieved top grades in engineering, science and maths, is now preparing to start our T-Level engineering course with us in September

Callum (pictured above) was beaming with pride and joy as he read his amazing GCSE results, we could not be more proud of his achievements, he said “UTC Warrington has been an incredible experience, I cannot wait to continue my journey with UTC and study their T-Level Engineering course”
Samuel, achieved amazing top results in English, Geography, Construction/Built Environment, Maths and Science. Samuel will be attending Priestley College to study Biology, Photography, Criminology and music performance.

Lily, who achieved top grades across Science, Computer Science, Engineering, English, Maths and Design Technology, is using these results and the skills acquired at UTC Warrington to undertake a games design course at Warrington and Vale Royal.

“Today, our learners finish their Year 11 journey with, confidence, and ambition to thrive in the next stage of their lives. We’re looking forward to welcoming many of them back next year to start T Levels with us, and can’t wait to see everything they’ll go on to achieve.”
UTC Warrington works closely with leading employers including Sellafield Ltd, Endress + Hauser, Galloway Construction, AstraZeneca, and Amentum, ensuring students gain real-world experience alongside their academic studies.
