Sunshine and smiles at VPX part II

THERE was plenty of sunshine and smiles as the VPX experience took over Warrington town centre.

Following on from last week’s event at Bank Park it was Golden Square and Time Square taking centre stage as hundreds of youmngsters enjoyed free fun with a wide ranage of activities.

Organiser and founder of the popular school holidays event, PCSO Tony Spruce, said: “Week 2 done and you did not disappoint with your turn out.”
“Sorry for the queues, but it can’t be helped.
“A HUGE thank you to all staff, volunteers, coaches, police staff, cadets who helped put today on.
“It was ridiculously hot, but everyone dug in.
“Genuinely couldn’t do this without any of you!”
Part III will see the event return to its spiritual home at Victoria Park next Wednesday.
