WITH part two of the VPX experience set to return tomorrow, Wednesday, Warrington South MP Sarah Hall has welcomed the return of the popular event.

THE MP joined families at Bank Park last Wednesday to celebrate the return of the much-loved Victoria Park Experience (VPX), which brought a full day of free activities and entertainment to the town centre.

Organised by Cheshire Police and Warrington Youth Zone, supported by Warrington BID and Warrington Borough Council, VPX offers something for children of all ages, from creative workshops to basketball nets, archery, bubble workshops, and more. The event’s return was met with an enthusiastic turnout from the local community.
Last week’s event was the first of four VPX days taking place across Warrington this summer. The next will be held in Warrington Town Centre at the Old Fish Market and Time Square, tomorrow, Wednesday 13 August, followed by another at Victoria Park on 20 August, with a final event at Warrington Youth Zone on 27 August.

Ms Hall said:“It was brilliant to see VPX back in Warrington. Everywhere you looked there were kids laughing, families joining in, and people catching up with friends.
“Days like this matter. They give children a chance to try new things and give parents a chance to just enjoy being out together without worrying about the cost.
“The amount of work that goes into organising something like VPX is huge, and it really shows. I want to thank Cheshire Police, Warrington Youth Zone, Warrington BID, and all the volunteers, especially Tony Spruce and the team for pulling it all together.
“This is what community looks like, and it’s what makes Warrington such a great place to live.”
