MORE than £800,000 will be injected into the local community as a result of a new housing development being built between Warrington and Widnes.

The investment, in the form of public open spaces, travel and transport  and recreation, will come as a result of an agreement between developers Bloor Homes and the local authority.

Named Aspen Brook, the new development of three and four-bedroom homes will create a base for a new neighbourhood to blossom

James Clark, managing director at Bloor Homes’ North West region, said: “Our Aspen Brook development will bring several infrastructure upgrades to benefit the local community.

“Having worked with the local planning authority, we have identified the key areas for investment and look forward to combining our financial commitments with the energy-efficient, high-quality homes that will soon be on offer at Aspen Brook.”

Aspen Brook is located on South Lane in Widnes.  A showhome is due to open  in September. Overlooking  countryside including Sunnybank Woodland Park the new neighbourhood is situated between the towns of Widnes and Warrington for prime accessibility.
