Raiders steal cash from Broomfields Christian Youth Project

POLICE are seeking witnesses following a burglary at a Christian youth project based at Broomfields Leisure Centre in Appleton, Warrington.

Four unknown offenders entered the Broomfields Youth Project (at the rear of Broomfield’s Leisure Centre) and stole a small quantity of cash.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed: “At 12.20 pm on Saturday 2 August, police were called to reports of a burglary at a leisure centre on Broomfields Road, Appleton.
“The caller reported that four unknown offenders had forced entry into the building at around 1 am that day (2/8/25) and stole a small quantity of cash.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML-2146258.
Broomfield’s Youth Project (BYP) is a multi-award-winning voluntary Christian youth work partnership that seeks to be a signpost and provide support for young people in the local area.
