Residents and guests at Cheshire Grange care home in Lymm enjoyed an afternoon of smiles and joy with a live music performance by local ‘Boy Band’, Crossroads, possibly the oldest boy band in Warrington!
Band members George and Trevor are both retired and love sharing their joy of music and performing with residents in local care homes. The ‘boys’ performed a selection of popular and some lesser known hits including tracks from Fats Domino, Elton John and Dire Straits and many more.
Residents joined in with the singing, and clapped along as the band performed their finale song, the iconic Neil Diamond classic Sweet Caroline.
General Manager, Dawn Holsgrove-Smith said, “Our residents and guests had a wonderful afternoon singing along with George & Trevor, we have a wide range of regular entertainers meeting all our residents various tastes and filling our home with the joy of music”
One resident said “I had so much fun, singing along and laughing at Georges jokes, I hope we can have them back soon”.
