COMEDIAN Troy Hawke has travelled the world baffling passersby with quick-witted compliments – amassing 1.5million followers on Instagram in the process.
Now everyone’s favourite 1930s throwback is returning to the stage, with a huge global tour that includes a show at Parr Hall in 2027!
Troy’s journey to become a viral sensation began when he donned a smoking jacket and posed as a customer service ‘greeter’ for TK MAXX in Macclesfield.
Since then the sophisticated and aggressively helpful moustachioed gent has been complimenting, amusing and bewildering anyone who comes into his orbit.
Along the way, he’s attempted to charm angry security guards and infiltrated all manner of the biggest sporting events – confusing Premiership footballers, avoiding threats from heavyweight boxers and even helping F1 legends to improve their vocabulary.
Now in his new tour, Never Stop, Never Change, Troy will continue to explore why a well-dressed man simply being nice to people has caused such a kerfuffle – and touch on some of the conversational minefields it has led to, both online and in real life.
Troy Hawke: Never Stop, Never Change comes to Parr Hall on 30 April, 2027, and tickets go on sale on Friday, 1 August, at 10am. Visit parrhall.culturewarrington.org/whats-on/troy-hawke-never-stop-never-change
