A 39-year-old Warrington man has been jailed after admitting historic child sex offences involving two young girls.
Andrew Eyre admitted all 11 charges he faced involving two young girls more than 20 years ago.
He was sentenced to an immediate 15 month custodial term, and a 15 month extended licence. He will also be on the sex offenders list for life, and must report to local police if he moves to a new area.
Eyre, of Arundell Close, Burtonwood, pleaded guilty nine of offences of indecent assault and two of gross indecency which took place on the Wirral more than 20 years ago when the girls were aged under 14.
His solicitor Jim Smith told Liverpool Magistrates Court at an earlier hearing that Eyres, from Burtonwood, was a youth when the offences took place.
