FIREFIGHTERS were called out after tyres were set on fire in a wooded area of Winwick, Warrington.
At 17:30 yesterday, Tuesday, one crew from Warrington attended reports of a fire on Alder Root Way.
A small fire involving tyres set in a wooded area was attended to and extinguished by firefighters using water from a backpack.
In another incident at 21:38, one crew from Warrington was called out to Westbrook Crescent, where a small fire that was smouldering in a garden was attended to and damped down by firefighters.
