Crowds take cover under the shade

Dave, who founded the charity and Disability Awareness Day after breaking his neck playing American Football, more than three decades ago when he was aged just 31.
He says the Scuba tank was one of the busiest places to escape the heat at the weekend, with many of the volunteers taking advantage of it post event to cool down.
Now he has issued a rallying call for new sponsors for next year’s event, while also thanking those who ensured this years event could take place, most notably Principal sponsors United Utilities and Expanse Learning.
