TWO fire crews were called out last night to reports of a kitchen fire at a property in Bewsey, Warrington.
At 20:28 crews from Penketh and Warrington, were called out to reports of a fire at a residential property on Longshaw Street.
Firefighters extinguished a fire in a kitchen with a fire blanket and used a high-pressure fan to clear smoke from the property.
There were no reports of any injuries.
In another incident at 15:18 one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire on Crownford Crescent, Latchford.
Firefighters used their water backpacks to extinguish a fire involving a suitcase. This is believed to have been ignited deliberately.
