FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to help prevent diesel leaking from a heavy goods vehicle tank entering the local drainage system at Lymm.
At 19:57 one crew from Lymm was called out to reports of a diesel spillage on Cliff Lane, Lymm.
A call to a fuel leak of approximately 200 litres of diesel required firefighters to help prevent fluid from entering the drains. The crew also used specialist materials to try to stop the leak in a heavy goods vehicle tank.
