Charity fundraiser ZenAM is hosting its annual wellbeing event on Saturday 28 June, with the money raised from this year’s event supporting ADHD UK.
Anxiety levels are at an all-time high, according to recent statistics, so taking some time to relax and recharge is more important than ever. At ZenAM, guests will enjoy yoga, a sound bath, reflexology and tips from a life coach, along with smoothies, goody bags and a raffle – all in aid of ADHD UK.
As a charity, ADHD UK aims to help those affected by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as the people close to them – from family and friends to colleagues and employers. The reduction of harmful stigma, cultivation of awareness and funding of key research are the primary goals of the charity, with the intention of creating a meaningful, lasting impact on the lives of those with ADHD.
Henry Shelford, CEO of ADHD UK, said: “Since we don’t receive formal funding, this sort of fundraising helps us to further our mission of providing information, support, research, advocacy and awareness for ADHD nationwide. We’re really pleased to have been nominated as the charity to benefit from ZenAM this year and hope it’s a wonderful morning of wellbeing for all.”
Life coach Sarah Hall, one of the wellbeing experts at ZenAM added: “I’m delighted to be taking part in ZenAM to support ADHD UK. Self-care is an important message for everyone, in order to reduce stress and anxiety, and I’ll be sharing some simple steps to improve wellbeing and enjoy the feeling of calm.”
ZenAM will take place from 9am to noon at The Tipi in the garden of the Jolly Thresher on Higher Lane in Lymm. Spaces are limited. To book on, visit www.spicepr.co.uk/zen
