DESERVING charities are being invited to bid for funding from Warrington Rotary Club’s annual Oktoberfest beer festival.
The festival has, for many years, raised funds for local organisations and charities – and the Rotary Club plans to make sure this year is no different.
It is inviting deserving charities to bid for funding at a “Community Evening” at Warrington Sports Club, Walton at 7pm on Monday May 19.
The event will enable organisations and charities to make a presentation to Rotary Club members explaining what they plan to do with a donation. The members will then decide if they are eligible to receive a donation up to the value of £500.
