A FOUR-bedroom house at Fearnhead will be converted into a home for two vulnerable children, aged 8-17 if Warrington planning chiefs give the go-ahead.
An application for planning consent to change the use of the property in Bruche Avenue has been submitted by Alcedo CH Ltd
The house currently has four bedrooms, a loft room, bathroom, ensuite, kitchen-dining room, utility room, lounge and garage and no alterations, internally or externally, are proposed.
Off-road parking for four or five cars is available, in addition to the garage.
A report being considered by planning officers says the property is opposite Bruche Park and there are primary and second schools nearby.
The property would provide a secure and stable family care environment. Carers would work on a rota basis providing 24-hour care to the two children.
The facilities of the house would remain unchanged and the comings and goings of domestic living would be the same, with school drop off, pick up, hobbies and shopping.
The residents would eat and share mealtime together but would also be able to prepare food and drink for themselves at their own discretion.
The scheme is currently being considered by Warrington Borough Council planning chiefs.

Why a 4 bed house for 2, why not find a 2 bed house or flat for them and give the house to.a family on the waiting list, the amount of those needing is growing bigger and nothing is being done about it .
I know a friend that’s stuck in a one bed flat with 3 kids, yet gets no where with the bidding .so much for prioritising the overcrowded and needy .
They are children! Do you think it’s ok place an 8 year old child in a flat alone? Think about it.
This will be a private house and the carers would need their own room and the 2 children will have their own room.
The extra bedrooms will be for the carers to sleepover, can’t leave children unattended overnight.
Very good news, providing a safe and adequate home for children in need. I worry that they have chosen to report on the exact location and pictured the house in the report though as it places the children in danger, these details should be kept private.
Promoting independence is an excellent attitude Room for carers and maybe another vulnerable person
Why report on the property !!!
