THE final concert in the “Live at St Wilfrid’s” 2024 programme will take place on Saturday November 16 – with a change to the advertised programme.
The National Youth Jazz Orchestra, who were to have performed, are unable to attend and will be replaced by North West-based jazz group The Swing Kings.
A spokesperson for Live at St Wilfrid’s said: “We have been fortunate to secure a return visit from The Swing Kings – a northern-based jazz ensemble who entertained us last year.
“ Obviously the programme will be new for 2024 and the combination of players and instruments will be different. We are extremely fortunate to have found appropriate alternative musicians at this late stage. “
