GUY Fawkes might turn in his grave, but Warrington is to get what is claimed to be its first charity laser show – as an alternative to fireworks!

Fantastic Fox Wood PTA – the parent-teacher association at Fox Wood Special School, Holes Lane, Woolston – is not putting its laser extravaganza on November 5. The show will light the skies on November 15.
But they are presenting it as an alternative to fireworks.
There will be a hot food stall, hot desserts van, hot drinks van, alcohol beverage van, fairground rides, sweet treats stall, glow items stall and refreshments stall.

The event will have a grand finale comprising of fantastic lasers lighting up the sky, along to music for all – but no loud bangs.
All funds raised on the night will go towards enriching Fox Wood pupils’ education and experience at school.
The event is open to all and you can book at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/fantastic-fox-wood-pta
