Two fire crews tackle wheelie bin fire

TWO fire crews were called out during the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a fire in a bin compound at a property in Orford, Warrington.

At 00:50 crew from Warrington and Penketh were called out to reports of a fire on Toll Bar Road, Orford.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving a wheelie bin within the bin compound of a property.

In another incident on Friday evening, three crews were called out to reports of a shed fire.

At 21:57 crews from Warrington, Lymm and one fire engine from Leigh were called out to Chesterton Drive, following reports of an outbuilding fire. On arrival, they found a shed on fire and used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
