Kids Planet Stretton raise over £700 for children’s charity

THE team at Kids Planet Stretton held a Christmas Fair recently to support a local charity ‘Friends of Frankie’.

The charity was set up in 2019 to raise money and awareness for Sudden Unexplained Death in Children (SUDC UK). Frankie’s mother is a local teacher, and set up the charity in memory of Frankie, a fun and loving toddler who died unexpectedly in his sleep.
Kids Planet Stretton raised £705 on the day with several stalls, a tombola, reindeer food and hot chocolate, bauble decorating, games such as pin the nose on Rudolph and Hunt the Elf, plus even a visit from Santa Claus himself.

Sarah Foster, Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Stretton, said: “It was a lovely, fun-filled and successful day for everyone, and I  would say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the event especially the team who gave up their Saturday. We are all really proud to have raised this amount of money for such a fantastic and important charity.”
