WARRINGTON and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WHH) Annual Members’ Meeting is set to take place with guest speaker, Paul Wood.
The former Warrington Wolves and England player who will be sharing insights from his mental health and wellbeing work with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals, in partnership with Rugby League Cares on Wednesday 4 October 2023, 3:30pm to 4:30pm, in the Post Graduate Centre at Warrington Hospital.
Paul appeared 339 times for Warrington, mainly at prop, and was twice a Challenge Cup final winner with the Wolves in both 2010 and 2012. Paul also played in the Grand final at Old Trafford in 2012 and 2013. In 2011 Paul was also part of the Warrington Wolves team to win the League Leaders Shield.
The meeting enables the board of directors to present the annual report and accounts, provide feedback on how the trust performed over the last year and the challenges and financial plan for the year ahead.
This meeting is also an opportunity for members who are contemplating becoming a governor to come and speak to our current governors to find out more about the role. Governors will be onsite at the Post Graduate centre from 2.30pm to chat to members. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available.
