It’s a quick turnaround for second-placed Warrington Rylands as they host FC United in a NPL Premier Division game at Gorsey Lane on Tuesday.
Rylands recorded a 4-2 win at Matlock Town on Saturday, with goals from Adama Sidibeh 2, Ben Hough and Scott Bakkor, to move into 2nd place in the table behind Radcliffe who have yet to drop a point this season.
As manager Mike Clegg says “It will be a really tough game, and they will be looking for revenge, and they can beat anyone on their day.”
He is obviously refereeing to the 4-0 defeat Rylands inflicted on FC United at Broadhurst Park ten days ago in the FA Cup.
Having lost all three away league games played so far this season, FC United of Manchester arrive at Gorsey Lane tonight in 10th place with 13 points from 8 games and on Saturday were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Whitby Town.
Kick-off is 7.45 pm for what is expected to be a fantastic night of non-league football with admission being Adults £10, Concessions £7 and U16s £2.
Once the final whistle has blown on Tuesday attention will turn to next Saturday’s FA Cup tie at the Moss Rose home of Macclesfield FC who advise that tickets can be bought before the game to avoid queuing on the day from https://macclesfieldfc.ticketco.events
Adults – £10
Concessions – £7
U18s – £3
Monday’s draw for the FA Trophy 3rd qualifying round has handed Warrington Rylands an away game at NPL West Avro on Saturday 7th October.
