POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision involving a teenage boy cyclist in Warrington last Saturday.

At 9pm on Saturday 9 September, police were called to reports of a collision on Stocks Lane.
The incident involved an unknown vehicle and a 14-year-old boy who was riding a pedal cycle.

As part of enquiries, police are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with them.
Police Constable Jamie Whittaker said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has dashcam footage which may aid our enquiries.
“The same goes for anyone who has seen a vehicle recently which has sustained damage to the front nearside.
“If you have any information, please contact us via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML 1641287.”

  1. Too many ‘Hit & Run’s’ these days, these are the dregs of society, scum that simply do not care for others, only think of themselves, have no morals, no respect for anything or anyone and think their above the law.
People of Penketh and Great Sankey, if you see a neighbours or friends car with recent damage, be brave and do the right thing by calling the Police.
