LATCHFORD Albion has announced that Sean Bond has accepted an offer to become part of head coach Martyn Ellis’ team.
Currently, one of the club’s Under-18’s coaches, Sean will combine his time between both squads to provide an additional pathway for players making the step from junior to open age rugby.
Coach Martyn Ellis said: “ Having worked with Sean during pre-season it seems a natural step to have him officially join our coaching staff.
“The under 18’s are in a great place and have started their season really strongly with some great victories. Sean knows our structures and values and is a welcome addition to our team.”
Latchford have a free weekend this Saturday before starting their league campaign on March 11 with a long trip to Heysham.
The club is running a coach for any spectators who wish to join make the journey and anyone interested should contact the club for more information.
