POLICE divers have been checking watercourses and lakes around the Creamfields music festival site ahead of this weekend’s event.
Members of the North West Underwater Search Team have been out with our #ProjectServator officers in and around the site checking for anything that doesn’t seem quite right.
They expect they will be out again soon helping to ensure people attending the festival stay safe.
Members of the public can also expect to see firearms officers, dog units and (maybe not see) plain-clothes officers working in the area.
This is to help keep the public safe and spot anything suspicious.
Any suspicious activity in the area can be reported via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/ or by calling 101.
